A MAN has appeared in court following an alleged ramraid at a convenience store in Poole in which a store worker was allegedly punched in the head.
Dorset Police was called to reports a car had crashed into the Premier Express store on Vicarage Road at 12.02am on Monday, October 28, 2019.
It was reported that a man entered the store and attempted to steal a number of items.
The owner of the store was present at the time.
It is alleged that the man punched the owner to the head before running from the scene.
A 35-year-old man of no fixed abode has been charged with driving whilst disqualified, using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance, burglary, robbery and assault.
He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 30.
