EIGHT fire crews rushed to the scene of a flat fire in Boscombe after the occupant returned to the property during the fire.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue responded to "persons reported" and sent crews from across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch to Christchurch Road.
Crews from Springbourne, Redhill Park, Poole and Hamworthy were sent, along with two crews each from Westbourne and Christchurch.
A second crew from Poole and one from Ferndown were mobilised to support fire cover in the surrounding areas.
When the crews arrived at around 9.20pm last night, they discovered the fire, in a eighth floor kitchen, was out.
