A MAN suspected of breaking a car dealer's finger in a row over a valuation will face no further police action.
As reported, police called for anyone with information to come forward after an incident at Bailey Bridge Retail Park's We Buy Any Car garage at 2.50pm on Thursday, September 12.
It was said that a male customer was angry at the valuation of a car. It was claimed that he then shut a member of staff’s hand in the car door.
The staff member suffered a broken finger.
A 49-year-old man from New Milton was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police yesterday confirmed that he has now been released from under investigation and will face no further police action.
Officers are not looking for anyone else.
