AN APPEAL has been launched to find a man who left a Southampton hospital "during a course of serious treatment".
Police say Alex Kelly, 27, left Southampton General Hospital today (October 24) at 12pm during a course of serious treatment.
Police say the 27-year-old and is "very unwell" and they are "really concerned" about his physical wellbeing.
Alex is described as white, with very short dark ginger hair, 5 feet 10 inches tall and of a slim build.
He is believed to be wearing dark clothing, navy trainers and was carrying a backpack.
He has links to Bournemouth, police say.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We are working with our colleagues across the border to help us locate him.
"If you know where Alex is or have seen him, please call 101 and quote incident number 348."
