A PENSIONER from Christchurch is due to appear in court following a fatal collision earlier this year.
Police were called to reports of a collision involving a Green Mazda 2 and a pedestrian in Stour Road, Christchurch just after 6.50pm on Wednesday, March 6.
Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene and the road was closed until 12.45am the following day.
The pedestrian, 90-year-old Raymond Warwick, was treated for a head injury. However, he died in hospital on Sunday, March 16.
Charles Clark, 77 and of Bure Haven Drive, has now been charged with causing death by careless driving.
He will appear at Poole Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning.
