FOUR 'male teenagers' were seen running away from a Townsend home last week after reports of a break in.

Police were called to a property in Jewell Road on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 15.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Officers attended and four male teenagers were reportedly seen making off from the scene.

"One of them was detained and arrested on suspicion of burglary.

"Following further enquiries at the scene, it was established that he was not involved and he was de-arrested.

"No further arrests have been made in connection with the incident."

BCP Council has revealed that it also received complaints of anti-social behaviour at a Jewell Road home earlier this year.

Director of housing Lorraine Mealings said: " A tenant was spoken to and appropriate advice was provided in accordance with our anti-social behaviour procedure.

"The case is being monitored and we are speaking to the police. We will also speak again to complaints before deciding on what further action is necessary.”
