MORE than 200 cannabis plants have been seized from a property in north Dorset.
Officers from the Wimborne and Ferndown Neighbourhood Policing Team dismantled the cannabis farm after receiving information from members of the public.
A spokesman for East Dorset Police said the discovery was made in the Sturminster Marshall area.
"Thanks to some accurate community intelligence and a great team effort, well over 200 plants were seized. We will not tolerate this getting into the hands of our young people, we see the negative impact on their lives most days.
"This is very much a local problem, hence we continue to target illegal and unregistered productions like this."
