POLICE have appealed for help to trace a man who attacked a member of staff in a Boscombe furniture store.

Officers said a man became abusive and aggressive towards an employee at Meridian Furnishers in the Sovereign Centre.

As attempts were made to usher him out of the store, the man pushed his victim and punched him in the eye.

Security staff then escorted the man from the premises. The victim did not require medical treatment.

Now officers hope to identify the man pictured so they can speak to him in connection with the assault, which took place on Friday July 26 at around 12.30pm.
