A NOTED employment lawyer has joined an expanding team of consultants at a young business.

Amy Cousineau Massey, formerly of Steele Raymond Solicitors, has been reunited with an old colleague at Canford Cliffs-based Woodstock Property Law.

She said: “I am thrilled to join the Woodstock team. I’ve gained some fantastic experience during my career to date and now it is time for me to move forward in a direction that allows me to provide a more personalised service to my clients.”

Simone Ritchie, also formerly of Steele Raymond and a consultant at Woodstock, said: “Taking the leap of becoming a consultant and trainer has been the best decision professionally and personally. My clients love the bespoke service that being a consultant allows me to provide them, free from the traditional law firm dynamic and allows me to focus on what’s most important – them and their needs.

“I’m delighted that Amy has joined the team, and we’ve reunited to create a strength in force, with Amy’s services complementing mine superbly.”

The firm has grown from a team of two in 2014 to 10 now. Director and lawyer Carly Jermyn said: “Our growth over the last five years has been incredible. We’ve tapped into a need within the legal services market for niche property law advice at competitive rates. Where possible we try to fix our fees. If that’s not possible, our fees are completely transparent.

“Bringing Amy into the team demonstrates how we are making our ambitions a reality by developing new areas of business and attracting the very best legal talent.”

The company has offices at Canford Cliffs and at Okehampton in Devon.
