AN APPEAL has been launched to find a missing Poole man
Charles Murphy was last seen visiting Poole Hospital at around 6.30pm on Saturday, October 12.
The 24-year-old has since left the hospital and has sent messages to a friend that raised concerns for his welfare.
Charles is described as white, five feet five inches tall and of slim build with dark brown hair.
He is believed to have been wearing a dark grey jacket and dark trousers and was carrying a dark blue rucksack.
Chief inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Charles’ welfare and are keen to locate him as soon as possible to make sure he is alright.
“We are carrying out searches and making a number of other enquries and I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.
“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Charles if you see this appeal to please make contact and let us know where you are so we can check that you are safe and well.”
