*SOAK up a bewitching fusion of storytelling and music on Portland.

The Big Blind will be performed at the Royal Manor Theatre on Friday, October 11 at 7.30pm.

*A TWO hour show delivered in true Fury style comes to Weymouth Pavilion tonight (11). The Billy Fury Years will be performed from 7.30pm. One of the best-selling recording artists of the 1960s, Billy Fury enjoyed a string of hit singles totalling a remarkable 332 weeks in the British charts. Health problems since childhood led to the singer’s untimely death on January 28, 1983. The show is further enhanced by fantastic audio and video effects plus various costume changes depicting the ever changing image and face of the Fury phenomenon.

*THE Dominic Alldis Trio will be performing new jazz arrangements of classical themes that pay homage to the remarkable achievement of the innovative late Jacques Loussier. The trio draw further inspiration from the works of Bill Evans, Dave Brubeck and the Modern Jazz Quartet to bring a fresh and contemporary jazz interpretation to themes drawn from classical music, opera and traditional folk songs

You can hear them play a blend of jazz and classical at Dorchester Corn Exchange tonight (11) from 8pm.

SATURDAY

*FOODIES should head to Brewery Square, Dorchester between 11am and 4pm, for its first local food producers' market, held with Dorset Food & Drink.

The square will become home to various local food producers for the day, selling a range of goods including locally produced baked goods, wine, cheese, preserves, gin and more

*FANS of girls band Little Mix can enjoy all the hits including Black Magic and Wings with tribute act The Little Mix Experience at Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. These four talented girls will pay tribute to the UK’s finest girl-band with breathtaking dance moves, replica costumes and what are said to be some of the finest vocals in the UK.

*Bring your broken items to be fixed as the Weymouth Repair Cafe reopens its doors tomorrow (12).

Repair Cafe Weymouth will be held at the Palm House Cafe, Melcombe Regis Car Park, Commercial Road, Weymouth between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Volunteers will fix items in return for a donation towards running costs. It saves items going into landfill/ recycling and you won't have buy new!

*IT'S a busy evening at Weymouth Pavilion with two simultaneous shows. In the Ocean Room you can see Forever Sabbath vs Ironed Maiden performing from 8pm. Expect to hear three hours of rock classics by these Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath tributes.

Also on Saturday evening you can hear Cher tribute Believe - The Cher Songbook in the theatre from 7.30pm. Celebrate the Goddess of Pop, Cher in this exhilarating show sensationally recreating all her hits, the hair, the costumes from her breathtaking career spanning six decades.

*HEAD to the magnificent setting of Sherborne Abbey for a Come and Sing Afternoon from 1.30pm to 7pm, part of Sherborne Abbey Festival.

Enjoy an afternoon of singing led by Paul Ellis, followed by an informal early-evening concert, all in the spectacular setting of Sherborne Abbey. It costs £20 for adults and is free for under 18s. See sherbornefestivalchorus.org.uk for more information.

*ACCOMPLISHED comedian, writer and actor Rhys James will headline Sunday Night Comedy at Weymouth Pavilion from 7.30pm. At 27 he has already made numerous TV appearances, on shows such as Mock The Week (BBC2), Roast Battle, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and many more. He has performed four solo shows at the Edinburgh fringe to complete sell-out audiences and critical acclaim, earning his 2017 show ‘Forgives’ a spot in the British Comedy Guide’s ‘Best Reviewed Shows of the Fringe’ list.
