A MAN in his 50s was attacked and verbally abused as he used a cashpoint machine at the Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth.
Police have appealed for help to identify a man captured on CCTV following the incident outside Asda at around 1pm on Tuesday September 17.
Officers said members of the public attempted to intervene but the attack continued and the victim suffered cuts to his arms.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "The victim was at the cashpoint when he was approached by another man. The man became aggressive toward the victim and began verbally abusing him before assaulting him.
"Despite the efforts of members of the public who tried to intervene, the victim was pushed against a wall. He was pushed several more times and sustained cuts to his arms."
