A CAR finance company is to create around 26 jobs after committing £2million to a new head office in Poole.

Creditplus has bought a 12,000sqft premises at Holes Bay to accommodate expansion.

It will move to the Willis Way site from its current Fleetsbridge base.

Co-founder Shaun Armstrong said: “Our new office reinforces the business’s commitment to Poole and will provide the expansion room needed to support our growing customer base, looking for a complete car buying experience. We’re proud to call Poole our home and will continue to support its thriving digital economy through our accelerated recruitment programme.”

The company has a second location in Fareham, Hampshire, which is home to more sales and underwriting staff.

The offices are supported by an RAC-approved vehicle preparation facility, which the company says will be within a mile of the new head office.

Lettisha Dolati, HR manager at Creditplus, said: “The modern design and collaborative layout of the new office is reflective of our culture and our ways of working with customers and partners. We’ve specifically focused the interior design on break-out areas which provide informal spaces for colleagues to share knowledge, innovate and work smarter.”

The new, three-storey building will accommodate 200 workstations and provide employees with a training facility and casual dining area. It is next to a Fitness first gym.

Creditplus says it plans to complete the move in the first quarter of 2020.

Shaun Armstrong left a career in automotive tech to found Creditplus in 2004. Working with partners such as Confused.com and MoneySupermarket, the car finance broker provides more than 90 lending options online to customers.
