SOUTHBOURNE Coastguard attended two incidents over the weekend.
At around 6.30pm on Sunday they were sent to a report of a man 'over the wrong side of the railings' near Bournemouth. "Once on scene we dispatched two search teams as casualty was not in sight and unable to located," said a spokesman.
"We were later informed that the police had previously attended and removed the casualty therefore the team stood down and returned to station."
On Saturday night at 9.30pm they were called to reports of a man who had fallen down the cliff near Southbourne beach.
"Once on scene we liaised with paramedics who confirmed that the casualty had been recovered to an awaiting ambulance," said the spokesman. "With no other casualties or assistance required team stood down."
