POLICE have appealed for help to identify a driver involved in an accident which left two women injured.

A collision occurred on Ringwood Road, Poole on Sunday July 28 at 10.40pm between the junction of Broom Road and Herbert Avenue.

The vehicles involved were a Mitsubishi Shogun and an Audi A1.

The driver of the Audi, a woman aged in her 20s, and her passenger sustained minor injuries that required hospital treatment.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was uninjured.

Now police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Police Constable Matthew Batter, of Poole police, said: "Following inquiries I believe that the driver of the Mitsubishi gave false details at the scene before driving off.

“The vehicle was located in the Bournemouth area and we have so far been unable to identify the registered owner."
