THE largest charity shop in the south west is set to open its doors in Creekmoor.
Dorset and Wiltshire children's hospice Julia's House will unveil its newly-expanded flagship store on Friday.
The charity has created a one-stop department store offering larger items of furniture, fashion, homeware and an extended bridal room selling new and pre-loved wedding dresses, bridesmaid gowns and mother-of-the-bride outfits.
The bridal room, which is available by appointment only, features a private changing room with the services of a personal shopper, and a large mirrored viewing area.
Fitted out using reclaimed materials and vintage-style shop fittings, the store retains the boutique-style interior that has become the trademark of Julia’s House shops.
Julia’s House currently has 10 shops in Dorset and two in Wiltshire.
The charity is dedicated to supporting the families of children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, providing bespoke care for every family it supports - at their home, in the community or at one of the charity’s two hospices in Corfe Mullen and Devizes.
