A MAN who was found dead close to a Bournemouth park died through amphetamine intoxication, Dorset Coroner's Court has heard.

Christopher John Lillington, aged 47, of Horsham Avenue, Bournemouth, was found deceased at Pelhams Park, Winton, on August 16 this year.

On Friday, at a short hearing presided over by Assistant Dorset Coroner Brendan Allen, coroner's officer Susan Kay said: "A member of the of the public had stopped to assist a dog that was running out in the road.

"The dog has then led them to the body of the man who was located at Pelhams Park.

"Police attended and, following enquiries, were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances relating to this matter."

Mr Lillington's next of kin have been made aware.

Mr Allen adjourned the hearing until May, nest year, when a full inquest will be carried out.
