1. Aladdin at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre from December 7, 2019 to January 5 2020.

Starring BBC EastEnders Richard Blackwood as Abanazar and The X Factor's Amelia Lily as Spirit of the Ring, alongside Bournemouth Pavilion pantomime favourites - Noel Brodie as Wishee Washee and David Ball as Widow Twankey.

2. Jack and The Beanstalk at Lighthouse Poole's Centre for the Arts, from December 12 to January 5.

Writer-producer Peter Duncan is to play his first ever panto Dame, opposite former Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah and Connor Byrne from the Tracy Beaker series and the Dumping Ground.

This is the fourth year running that Lighthouse has co-produced its own pantomime with Duncan Reeves Productions, the company headed by Olivier Award-nominated actor and TV presenter Peter Duncan and musical director Darren Reeves. 3. Cinderella at Weymouth Pavilion Theatre, December 14 to January 4 in 2020

This timeless tale follows our heroine, the beautiful Cinderella, on a mission to make her dreams come true as she heads off to the Royal Ball to meet her very own Prince Charming.

4. Dick Whittington at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne December 20 to January 5.

Produced once again by local professional company Made-to-Measure Productions. The rags-to-riches story tells the tale of a boy from Wimborne who travels all the way to London to make his fortune. Due to popular demand, there will also be another “Grown-ups Only” performance on :

5. Jack and The Beanstalk at Regent Centre, January 18 to January 25

It’s been 15 years since the award-winning Highcliffe Charity Players performed Jack in the Beanstalk, so don’t miss this giant of a show which "promises laughter, sparkle and excitement for the whole family to enjoy".
