A SOUTHAMPTON man died at level crossing near his home, Winchester Coroner's Court heard.
Pawel Stanislaw Lopata, 39, of Derby Road, was found at the level crossing in Mount Pleasant Road on September 8.
A report from Dr Victoria Elliot states the preliminary cause of death as multiple traumatic injuries.
Senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the full inquest to January 9 2020.
