HOUSE-SHARING shoplifters have appeared back before the courts to admit yet more offences.

As reported, Lee Curry and Christopher Heap, who share a property in Alma Road, Winton, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court in August to admit a series of crimes.

Curry, 36, pleaded guilty to five counts of shoplifting, as well as the commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of 12 months for theft.

Heap, 32, admitted three counts of theft, one of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order and one of failing to surrender to custody.

The court heard they stole steak and seafood from shops in Bournemouth.

Last week, the pair were brought back before the same court, where both admitted stealing alcohol worth £75 from Waitrose in Ashley Road, Poole on March 18, as well as a related count of assaulting a man by beating him.

They were sentenced to a further four weeks behind bars, which will run concurrently to their existing sentences of 16 weeks in prison.

They must also each pay £37.50 compensation.
