ELBOW have just announced a European tour including a date at Bournemouth International Centre on Saturday, April 25 in 2020

Tickets will be on sale from bhlivetickets.co.uk on Friday, September 27.

Known for their musical and storytelling genius, Elbow have achieved many of the accolades that mark out a successful band over the past 20 years.

Their cabinet boasts two Ivor Novellos, a Mercury Music Prize and a BRIT award for Best British Band. They featured in an hour long South Bank Show documentary and are one of the most featured modern bands on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs.

Elbow also remain the only band to secure four consecutive 9/10 album reviews from the NME and their releases have been a permanent presence in the UK charts since the release of debut album, Asleep In The Back in 2001. They last performed at the BIC in March 2017.

* Eighties crooner Rick Astley has also confirmed that he will be performing his Greatest Hits Tour at the BIC on April 16 next year. He will be performing releases from his career-spanning compilation The Best of Me which is released on October 25. His shows are described as a celebration, mixing the famous hits that made his name alongside current fan favourites. His sets are often peppered with covers of vintage hits like AC/DC’s Highway To Hell and songs by contemporary figures such as Calvin Harris and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s Giant.

* Other big names who will be visiting the BIC in 2020 include The 1975, McFly, Stereophonics, Simply Red, Status Quo and Gregory Porter.
