POLICE have issued a CCTV appeal after £100 was taken from a cashpoint when someone had been distracted.
They want to speak to two women after an incident outside Boscombe Superstore in Christchurch Road on Wednesday September 11.
Officers said a person withdrew some money at 9.15am and did not know that the transaction was successful after becoming distracted.
The person entered the store without collecting their £100 withdrawal.
It is believed that someone then took the money from the cashpoint.
Police Community Support Investigator Martin Young, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my investigation I am releasing a CCTV image of two women who I would like to speak to as they may have information about the cash.
“I would ask anyone who knows who the women pictured are to contact Dorset Police.”
Call police on 101, quoting occurrence number 55190143169, or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
