THE family of a woman who disappeared without her handbag say they believe she could be in the Poole area.

Alison Annetts, 48, was last seen at her home in Coronation Road, Portland at 11.30am on Sunday, September 15. She was reported missing at 10.57pm.

She is described as white, five feet five inches tall and of slim to medium build. She has short blonde hair and wears glasses. Officers investigating her disappearance said she left on foot and has not taken her handbag with her.

Chief Inspector Steve May, of Dorset Police, said: “I would urge anyone who has seen Alison or knows of her whereabouts to please contact Dorset Police.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Alison if you see this appeal to please contact us or your family as we just want to ensure you are OK.”
