LINES have reopened after someone was hit by a train between Eastbourne and Lewes.
Southern Rail said lines have been reopened however trains are running at a reduced speed.
He said: "As a result of this, trains may be cancelled or delayed.
"This is expected to continue until 17:00.
"Customer Advice Services between Eastbourne and Lewes will be severely disrupted. Please expect journey times to be extended by up to 30 minutes. You may also need to use alternative routes in order to reach your destination.
"First class will be declassified on all services between Ore and Brighton and Ore and London Victoria.
"Your ticket will be valid on the following services: Southeastern between London Bridge and Hastings Brighton & Hove Buses on routes 12,12A and 12X between Eastbourne, Seaford and Brighton."
