A PERSON was struck by a train at Pokesdown on Friday evening.
The incident is thought to have occurred at around 8.15pm.
All lines between Poole and Southampton Central were blocked.
Train services running through these stations were cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption last until the end of service.
South Western Railway said its response teams are working with the emergency services.
A spokesperson said: "In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area. "
Train services from London Waterloo to Weymouth/Poole/Bournemouth terminated at Southampton Central. They then returned to London Waterloo, subject to crew availability.
Train services from Weymouth towards London Waterloo terminated at Poole. They then returned to Weymouth, subject to crew availability.
Buses were requested to run between Southampton Central and Bournemouth.
National Rail said just after 2am that trains would be running normally at the start of service on Saturday morning.
