Residents in Poole reported thousands of tiny insects swarming in Poole on Friday.
One person has described them as flea beetles, which have enlarged hind legs to enable them to leap when disturbed.

There’s thousands all the way up to baiter! We’re on the third floor of my office opposite sunseaker, and they’re jumping that high! Here’s a pic outside my office pic.twitter.com/VsdhLSTpxC

I was going to ask the same thing I am in hamworthy and they are everywhere I have never seen anything like it.

A swarm of them in oakdale as coming home, must be tens of thousands here. Pedestrians flicking them away as walking along. Must have brought a 100 into the house with me and still discovering more.
