POLICE in Blandford have recently arrested three people on suspicion of drugs offences.

On August 20, officers raided an address in Salisbury Street after members of the public reported their concerns.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs. Quantities of substances suspected to be cannabis, cocaine and MDMA were seized and the man was released under investigation.

Another warrant was executed in the town this month. Two people were arrested.

Inspector Simon Perry said: "We recognise the public are our eyes and ears and will continue to act on information around this issue."

Police will be carrying out extra patrols in 'hotspot areas', Insp Perry said.
