A BODY has been found in the search for a man who went missing after finishing work last week.
Andrew Budden, 39, left his workplace on Thursday afternoon but failed to return to his home address in Walpole Road in Bournemouth or attend work as expected on Friday.
He was reported missing at 11.38pm on Thursday and searches were carried out on Friday and throughout the weekend.
Dorset Police said as a result of the searches, a man's body was discovered in an area of woodland off Queens Park Avenue in Bournemouth at 11.25pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson said: "While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be Andrew and his family has been informed. Our thoughts are with them and his friends at this very difficult time.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been notified."
