EMERGENCY services rushed to Mudeford Quay this afternoon over a concern for welfare.
Police were called by the Coastguard at 4.07pm over concerns for a man in the water.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said the man was taken to hospital.
An eyewitness reported seeing the air ambulance and RNLI also at the scene.
