A TEENAGE boy was knocked unconscious and threatened with a knife during a robbery at a Bournemouth rec yesterday afternoon.
The victim, 16, was sitting with a friend at Winton Recreation Ground in Fitzharris Avenue at 2.45pm when the pair were approached by three male teenagers.
Police say the victim was then hit on the head, which caused him to pass out. When he regained consciousness, he was threatened with a knife and his bag was taken.
The bag contained a mobile phone and cash.
The victim sustained minor injuries to his head and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Three boys, all of whom are aged 15 and 16 and from Bournemouth, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. One of the 15-year-old boys was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
They are currently assisting detectives with their enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Aimee Lloyd, of Bournemouth CID, called for anyone who may have witnessed the incident but hasn't yet been in touch with police to call 101, quoting 55190134840.
