POLICE are searching for a man who suddenly left hospital before receiving full treatment.
Steven Diamond, 33, was reported missing at 12.50pm on Tuesday after leaving the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in Castle Lane East.
He is described as white, around six feet four inches tall and with dark, thinning hair. He is believed to have been wearing chef’s trousers and a black chef’s shirt and was carrying a satchel.
Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “Steven left the hospital before receiving the full medical treatment that he needs and we are keen to locate him to make sure he is safe and well.
“We are carrying out searches around the hospital as well as the area of his home address in West Moors and I am appealing to anyone with information as to Steven’s whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to contact police immediately.
“I would also make a direct plea to Steven if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your family as we all just want to ensure that you are alright.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Steven's whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 27:239.
