POLICE are probing a spate of thefts across Poole – including the bizarre theft of a full wheelie bin.
Officers say the bin was stolen from an address in Belgrave Road, Canford Cliffs, sometime between 10pm on Thursday, August 15 and 8am the following day.
A charger for an electric scooter was stolen from a property in Baiters Gardens in Poole Town between 9.10pm on Friday, August 16 and 7.50am on Saturday, August 17.
Thieves stole a grey Carrera bike from outside the Tesco Express in Herbert Avenue, Rossmore on the night of Sunday, August 18.
On the afternoon of the same day, a bird bath was taken from the garden of a home in Sopwith Crescent, Merley.
Sometime between 5pm on Saturday, August 17 and 7.30am the following day, a gym bag was stolen from a car in Gosling Close, Canford Heath. The thief smashed the rear passenger window to get to the bag.
