A MAN who allegedly drove a high-powered BMW five times while disqualified is due to appear before the courts this month.

Jack Cole, of Monks Way in Bearwood, has been charged with a series of driving offences after he was allegedly caught behind the wheel of a BMW X5 on dates between April 9 and 23.

Prosecutors will allege the 26-year-old was caught in West Borough, Rowlands Hill and on the A31 in Wimborne, Ringwood Road in Poole and Merley House Lane in Merley.

Cole has also been charged with four counts of driving while insurance, one of driving with 4.3 micrograms of THC, the primary psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, per litre of his blood, and one of having a black-handled lock knife in his possession in Halfords, Ringwood Road.

The defendant will appear at Poole Magistrates' Court on August 29.
