POLICE are continuing to investigate the death of a builder who suffered a cardiac arrest when he was working at a home in Poole.

As reported, the casualty fell ill at a property in Uppleby Road, Upper Parkstone, at 9.30am on March 15 this year.

The air ambulance landed in nearby Branksome and police and paramedics rushed to the scene to give the man treatment.

However, the casualty couldn't be saved.

Work was being carried out at the address at the time of the man's death.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death of the man.

"A joint investigation is underway with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)."

Officials from HSE were contacted as the death occurred at a workplace.

A spokesperson for the organisation said: “HSE is aware of this incident and working with the police who have primacy.”
