BURGLARS in t-shirts stole air rifles from a rural farm shed last week.
Two men in a black 4x4 raided a property in Poyntington, two miles north of Sherborne, at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, August 6.
Police have called for information after the raid on the "large secure shed".
An officer from the local police team said: "There were two men in the 4x4.
"One was wearing a white t-shirt and the second wore a pale blue t-shirt and shorts.
"After forcing the door of the shed open, the thieves stole two air rifles, one of which was broken, as well as a red generator and a STIHL diamond blade saw."
He called for anyone who was driving on the B3145 around Red Post or Poyntington at the time to get in touch, particularly if they have dashcam footage which shows a black 4x4.
