FORECASTERS have warned thunderstorms predicted to take place this evening could result in flooding.
A yellow warning – meaning 'be aware' – has been issued for heavy showers and storms.
The warning covers Dorset. It is in place until 8pm.
A spokesperson from the Met Office said there will be "flooding and disruption", but only in a "few places".
There may also be damage caused by lightning strikes, while drivers are likely to be affected by standing water or even hail.
