THE Friday night fireworks in Bournemouth have been cancelled tonight due to forecasts of high winds.
A Met Office weather warning is in force until midnight for rains and high winds.
The free weekly spectacle on the seafront, which is organised by Bournemouth Tourism, was due to take place at 10pm, however the event has been called off due to safety concerns.
They will return next week and continue every Friday throughout August.
