POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the theft of a wallet from a Sandbanks hotel.

The victim's wallet, which contained bank cards and £60 cash, was stolen at the Haven Hotel in Banks Road on Tuesday, June 25.

The card was subsequently used at an unknown branch of Barclays bank in Northampton as well at the bank’s Newbury branch in Berkshire the following day.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Hardy, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been making enquiries into this incident and have obtained a CCTV image of a man who we would like to speak to in connection with this incident.

“I am appealing for anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
