THE A31 was closed eastbound this afternoon after a three-vehicle crash near Canford Bottom Roundabout.
Police were called to the scene of the collision at 2.45pm.
The fire service was in attendance as there were reports of a trapped person and the ambulance service was also requested.
The road was closed at Merley Gardens Roundabout to Canford Bottom following the incident near the Ferndown industrial estate.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said the crash involved a grey Land Rover, a white Suzuki and a silver Mercedes, all registered to Hampshire keepers. One person sustained "slight injuries".
The road was reopened by around 7pm.
