TRAFFIC measures were last week put in place due to the ongoing suspension of the Sandbanks Ferry.
A temporary one-way system has been in force around Purbeck to help traffic flow around Corfe Castle.
Southbound traffic for Swanage should use the B3351 at Corfe Castle and Ulwell Road, and traffic heading out of Swanage should use the A351.
Traffic from Studland bound for Wareham should use Ulwell Road, through Swanage to the A351 out of town.
The chain ferry was withdrawn from service on Friday, July 12 following a fracture of one of the main drive shafts, according to operator Bournemouth-Swanage Motor Road and Ferry Company.
The vessel was towed to a repair facility in Southampton.
It is estimated that the ferry will be out of service until at least October now.
