A SPECIAL 'Reptile Day' takes place at RSPB Arne this month.
The event to showcase some of the rarest and most vulnerable reptiles in the UK is scheduled for 11am-3pm on Saturday, July 27.
RSPB Arne visitor experience volunteer Daniel Wright said: "There aren’t many places you have a chance to see all six of Britain’s reptile species, but RSPB Arne is one of those special places.
"From the legless lizard, the slow worm, to the UK’s rarest snake, the smooth snake, 'Reptile Day' is a chance to see up close and learn about some of the rarest and most vulnerable reptiles in Britain.
"The day will start at 11am in the café garden with our first reptile show and tell, which will be repeated every hour throughout the day.
"We will also have reptile themed arts and crafts."
The event, suitable for all ages, is free but normal parking charges apply.
