BOURNEMOUTH is one of the most popular seaside towns to feature on Instagram, new data has revealed.
Holiday rental search engine HomeToGo found Bournemouth was the third most Instagrammed destination, with 1.4 million hashtags.
It was also the most popular town in Dorset, although Poole and Weymouth also made it into the top 19.
Head of inbound marketing Joanna Booth said more people were choosing to stay in Britain to enjoy a seaside break.
“We’re seeing more and more British travellers choosing domestic beach holidays this year, and since the UK has so much stunning coastline, they’re spoilt for choice.
