A CCTV image of a suspect has been issued by police after scratchcards worth more than £1,000 were stolen from a shop in Westbourne.
Police were called to reports of a break-in at the Tesco Express store in Poole Road at 1.20am on Tuesday, May 21.
Officers carried out a search of the area but could not find the offender.
A number of the scratchcards were subsequently cashed in at Central Convenience Store in Seamoor Road later that same morning.
Police Constable Dan Yates, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following enquiries, we have obtained CCTV footage from the Central Convenience Store of the suspect and I am appealing for anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
