I RARELY go to Bournemouth at night but as we had visitors staying in town, we met up at the Moon in the Square. There were homeless sitting on the outside tables and beggars harassing holiday makers who were enjoying a drink.
At least four people approached customers for money, including one lady who would not leave. I was personally embarrassed by our town. At the other end of the square were about 40 foreign students screaming and yelling. While I sympathise with homeless, surely the town centre should be better policed. Holiday-makers won’t return .
