A TEENAGE boy has been arrested in connection with a robbery in which a Navy medal was stolen.
A man in his 20s was approached by a group of people and punched in the head as he was sitting on a bench in North Street, Wareham on Wednesday June 5 at 9.10pm.
The group then went through the victims pockets and stole his wallet, which contained £10, his bank card and a Navy medal belonging to his father.
He was also punched and kicked by the group.
Following inquiries, a 17-year-old boy from the Wareham area has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and has since been released under investigation.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101, quoting occurrence number 55190085143. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
