DAVID ASHLEY YATES, aged 31 and of Montgomery Avenue, Bournemouth, admits driving a vehicle in Alder Road, Poole on May 26 with 66 micrograms of alcohol in breath. Fined £400, to pay a £40 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

JOHN JOSEPH JEWELL, aged 30 and of Shipstal Close, Poole, admits assaulting an emergency worker by beating him in Wareham on December 3 2018. Community order made. The defendant must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. To pay an £85 surcharge, to pay £135 costs.

DAVID ANDREW MOSS, aged 34 and of Strand Street, Poole, convicted of using a Mazda in Dorchester Road, Wool on October 20 2018 without appropriate insurance. Also convicted of failing to produce for examination a certificate of insurance when required. No separate penalty.

ADAM BRUNTON LEE-POTTER, aged 48 and of Surrey Quays Road, London, admits driving a vehicle in Waterloo Road, Poole on May 26 with 137 micrograms of alcohol in breath. Fined £800, to pay an £80 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 30 months.

EAST DORSET

JOHN ANTHONY SEARLE, aged 40 and of Tongham Road, Runfold, Farnham, Surrey, admits using a vehicle on the A31 at Ashley Heath on May 18 when the maximum permitted laden weight of 26,000kg was exceeded by 1,400kg. Fined £200, to pay a £30 surcharge, to pay £300 costs. Also admits using a vehicle on which was carried a load, namely pallets of bricks, which was in such a position that danger or nuisance was likely to be caused to any person or property by reason of the load or part of it being blown or falling off. Fined £300. Also admits using an unlicensed vehicle. No separate penalty. Also admits failing to ensure recording equipment installed in the vehicle was used properly in that no records of the driving were recorded. No separate penalty.

CHRISTCHURCH

JOSE MARIA GINESTA, aged 53 and of Stony Lane, Burton, admits driving a Mercedes in Castle Lane East, Bournemouth on May 30 with 93 micrograms of alcohol in breath. Fined £1,077, to pay a £107 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

FERNDOWN

IAN PHILIP TIDBALL, aged 65 and of Leeson Drive, Ferndown, admits driving a Smart car in Wimborne Road West, Wimborne on May 31 with 55 micrograms of alcohol in breath. Fined £473, to pay a £47 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 15 months.

SWANAGE

BRANDON HERRINGTON-DINHAM, aged 21 and of Gordon Road, Swanage, admits damaging a leaded glass window at the White Horse pub in Swanage on July 29 2018. To pay £380 compensation. Also admits breaching a restraining order on June 5. Community order made. The defendant must comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement for 24 days and carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Also admits the conviction of an offence while a community order for breaching a restraining order is in force.
