A THIEF took the opportunity to steal two suitcases from the boot of a car as the owner was unloading the vehicle, police say.
The raider struck in Cassel Avenue, Alum Chine on Sunday afternoon.
The theft happened sometime after 3.45pm when the car was unattended.
A spokesperson from Dorset said: "The offender stole two suitcases from the boot while the owner was unloading the car."
A thief also targeted a car in Mannock Way, Canford Heath sometime between midnight and 9am on Friday.
Sunglasses and trainers were stolen from the car.
