CANFORD School's Layard Theatre welcomed staff and pupils, both past and present, to an afternoon of celebration on its 20th anniversary.
Visitors were allowed to walk around the stage, through the dressing rooms and into studios during the event.
They viewed a display which included unseen alternative stage designs for past productions, photographs of current teachers performing on stage when they were pupils and an original musical number produced by an all teaching staff cast.
Director of Drama, Laura Blake said: "This was an opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the legacy of this special place, helping it to become the warm and vibrant venue that it is today.
"The theatre has been at the heart of school life and has been the location for the forging of friendships and memories that endure well in to the future."
