ELEVEN Dorset restaurants have been declared the best of the south west after being included in a prestigious dining guide
The venues appear in this year’s Trencherman’s Guide.

Brassica Restaurant in Beaminster
The Station Kitchen in West Bay
The Alexandra
Hix Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis
The Club House in West Bexington
Abbots Court in Blandford Forum
The Acorn Inn at Evershot
Plumber Manor in Sturminster Newton
The Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne
In addition to the restaurant reviews, Trencherman's Guide also includes leading chefs’ tip-offs on where they’ll be eating out in 2019 and bitesize round-ups of some of the best dining experiences.
Trencherman’s chairman, Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines, calls it "a guarantee of exceptional dinning experiences".
