POLICE and immigration officers swooped on a Bournemouth barbershop on Wednesday morning.
The raid took place at Fade Barbers, Withermoor Road, Winton.
A Home Office spokesman confirmed: "Acting on intelligence, immigration enforcement officers visited Fade Barbers.
"Checks showed that a 29-year-old American man had overstayed his visa.
"The man was placed on immigration bail while his case is progressed."
